Since GoPro’s inception, there have been many competitors introducing their version of an extreme action camera. Many people swear by the GoPro brand while others have found more affordable options that still produce quality results.
The waterproof GoPro 6 is absolutely spectacular. If your budget allows, definitely invest in this handy little camera. You can instantly send the footage to your phone using the GoPro app so you can create a video on the spot. Who doesn’t love 4K right? This is a powerful camera with multiple viewing angles that you can get for a decent price. Plus it has built-in wifi and the app allows live streaming.
You will fall in love with the stability of this camera. It doesn’t matter how bumpy your ride, it will produce clear, stable film and pictures.
The HD quality is truly inspiring. You can capture fast speeds with ease. It can shoot up to 10 fps /1 sec.
The only thing I disliked about it was you have to use a waterproof housing if filming underwater. So if you plan on being submerged then you better use the casing because it is designed to be water-resistant, not completely waterproof. Also, I was unsure if it was compatible with a GoPro mount.
Proshot case
Here is something that works just as good as a GoPro or Sony for a fraction of the cost. It may actually surprise you.
The Proshot case is one of the best ways to film your bodysurfing sessions. These waterproof iPhone cases are reasonably priced and have a nice wide angle lens that allows you to shoot some amazing footage in any wet environment.
